I am the PTA president at Delevan Drive Elementary School in Los Angeles.  Herb West became involved with our school community 2 years ago.  He volunteered his time and expertise to take pictures of several school events.  The work he put in was more than I ever could have asked for.  The pictures were not only beautiful, artistic and real, they seemed to capture this moment in time in a capsule that the parents, teachers, and children of Delevan will never be able to thank him for.  His photography was a true gift and I would highly recommend him for any venue or event.

Herb, Thank you, thank you, thank you for putting me on to Picasa. It was the perfect program at the perfect time for two things I need to do quickly this week. It really is quite fast and easy to use. I don't think you can stress enough in your talks about how important it is to figure out how to organize photos as a photographer gets started. It is so easy to get overwhelmed with photos here and there in folders.  And then you spend hours trying to find that special photo you need.... My life would be much easier if I was organized. 

And as the chair of library board of trustees, my thanks for the public service your talk provides. It is exactly how we envision using that room and I'd say you had a pretty good turnout for a Monday night. - Steve Mease
